Soul Bond Pair — Custom Bonded Animal Spirit Pair or Symbolic Couple Portrait Painting

A Soul Bond Pair is a custom symbolic portrait of two animal presences, created to honor a meaningful bond between two people, companions, or kindred spirits.

This offering is for one portrait-style original painting of two animals in a paired heart like composition. The animals may commemorate a couple, partnership, handfasting or wedding bond, close friendship, family connection, or other soul-level relationship.

Each painting is created using animal choices (i.e. wolves, birds, horses, hares etc.), reference photos when available, stories, color preferences, and one or two small symbolic details. The paired animals are painted in my inward-facing, mirrored, or gently intertwined Soul Bond style, with soft faded atmosphere inspired by either a green grove or enchanted flower garden feeling.

The original painting is in oil and gouache, with cold wax finish, mounted to a wooden panel. The sides of the panel are painted or gilded, your choice. 

Please note: This is not a full landscape scene or open-ended illustration. The focus remains on the symbolic connection between the two animal presences.

How the process works

After purchase, I will contact you by email to gather your details. You may share animal choices, reference photos if relevant, personality notes, favorite colors, meaningful botanicals, symbols, relationship details, or anything you would like me to consider.

This is a symbolic portrait, and although my work is realism - it is expressive and not a photorealistic rendering. The final painting will be created in my signature style, with the two animals interpreted as mythic, soulful presences within a shared bond.

Timeline

Please allow approximately 6–10 weeks for completion, depending on my current commission schedule. If the piece is intended for a wedding, handfasting, anniversary, or other specific date, please contact me before ordering to confirm availability.
