A Soul Bond Familiar is a custom portrait of a physical beloved animal companion or symbolic animal familiar/spirit guide,  painted by hand in my signature mythic expressive realism style. 

This offering is for one portrait-style (upper body and head) original painting of a single animal presence. Your familiar may be inspired by a pet, a remembered animal companion, or an animal chosen for its personal or symbolic meaning. 

I will create your custom painting using reference photos, stories, and color preferences. You may provide your own reference photos, or I will work from my own references when needed. One or two small symbolic details of your choosing,  may be included with the animal, such as a flower, charm, marking, or other meaningful element that represents the bond.

I translate these details into an original artwork that focuses on the spirit and presence of the animal, with a soft expressive painterly border/background around the animal of either greenery, flowers, or color you may choose.

How the process works

After purchase, I will contact you by email to gather your reference photos if you have any, and details. You may share photos of the animal, color preferences, personality notes, and one to two chosen meaningful symbols if you wish,  (flower, charm, stone, etc) to include in the portrait. 

The final painting will be created in my signature painterly expressive realism style, with your familiar interpreted as a soulful, mythic presence.

Timeline

Please allow approximately 4–8 weeks for completion, depending on my current commission schedule. If you need the piece by a specific date, please contact me before ordering.

Important notes

This listing is for one animal familiar only. For two animals or a relationship-based symbolic portrait, please choose the Soul Bond Pair commission listing or the Soul Bond- New Soul commission for a baby or new parents based symbolic portrait.
